"Nodding dog in charge of store"

I recently ordered a patio canopy from the Cardiff store , a couple of days later I had a message to say they didn't sell them from the store and I had to go back to the store [2 hour round trip ] to get a refund then place an order on line [ £5..extra ] as there was now a delivery charge added . I asked to see the manager and told him the story , he just stood there nodding , no apology , no compensation and when I told him I was totally dissatisfied he just kept nodding . My wife and I thought this was the most ignorant response we have ever witnessed . I have spent the best part of £500 in this store in the last couple of months ! If this is the type of customer service you receive from the Range , I would rather go elsewhere and pay a little more . Incidently , I ordered a 4 tier water feature which I was told would take 7-14 days , we are now into the third week and still no notice of a delivery , wouldn't it be better not to make promises you can't keep ? A bit of customer service and an apology would have done it for me!.
