"Wow what an experience!"

I wanted an old gas fire removed that was previously installed by Victoria Gas some 17 years ago, this was to be replaced with a new fire valued at £840 ( inc fitting ).

The engineer arrived and from the moment he stepped over my threshold never stopped complaining. I would suggest that if you do employ them please, please ask for a list of what you can not do when he is in your own house I.e Dog to be put outside, no TV or radio, no video doorbell to be connected, no telephone answer machine to be switched on, no electric air freshener, and above all don’t ask any questions, he also complained about access to my gas meter, I have been in my house for 20 years, the gas meter is a little awkward to access but British Gas have serviced my gas appliances for the 20 years with no complaint.

On leaving he informed me that he would not be back, this saved me the problem of telling him myself, however when I asked for my £250 deposit back he at first denied that I had paid it but fortunately I had the receipt ( I had to collect it myself from their showroom) so all in all, a wonderful experience of the so called “Customer service”..
